Don't Send a Boy To Do A Man's Job.

Sean Sullivan for Congress

As a long time critic of former U.S. Representative Sam Gejdenson it pains me to say this, but one always got the impression that Sam was one of the big dogs in Congress. One gets the impression from the current occupant of that office he would be more at ease serving as an intern.

I often wonder what line of argument the incumbent uses to convince wavering congressmen on the merits of Eastern Connecticut’s worth as a defense manufacture. Let’s face it – U.S. Representative Joe Courtney (D-2nd District) ain’t no military hawk. So far Courtney has passed of his predecessor’s accomplishments as his own, but now the easy part is over.

Then there is Courtney’s foolish position sky-high oil prices. Courtney doesn’t want off-shore drilling, doesn’t want to drill in Alaska and pretends all we need to do is raid the Strategic Oil Reserve. That’s not even a short-term solution.

Republican Sean Sullivan is everything Courtney isn’t. Sullivan doesn’t blend into the woodwork and he really does believe in a strong national defense in which Connecticut plays a key part. Sullivan’s long term solution to the Energy Crisis is to drill where we know we have oil, explore alternative energy technology AND conserve.

We can’t wait two more years – we need Sean Sullivan now!

John: Glad you mentioned Sam and Joe together. Seems most Democrats, including Mr Courtney, want the PUBLIC to forget Joe was the Campaign Manager for Sam.
My mom, Gail Slicer, from Vernon,CT was the creator of the "Can Sam" can. She wrapped hundreds of coffee containers and distributed them to hundreds of supporters for MR Ed Munster and Mr Rob Simmons.
Then they had a big party and all the cans were turned in as donations.
See, the budget was zero and the message was "Your pennies count."

When it comes to high prices of
anything Joe Courtney believes you can afford it. No matter what
it is.

WE NEED Sean Sullivan. www.Sullivan2008.com

Who can forget the Can-Sam Can. I had one! I was dirt poor back then but all my stray pennies went into my Can-Sam Can.

I also remember your Mom. Who can forget her?

Sam in all liklyhood would still have his job if it wasn't for your Mom's efforts.
