The Bulletin's Spin on Q Poll

You got to be kidding me!
Rob Simmons is trouncing incumbent liberal Democrat Chris Dodd 50 percent to 34 percent. — a 16 point lead — and the online headline is
“Rell Remains Popular”?

Now really. Is Rell’s popularity really the hot issue here? In other news UCONN Huskies are a really good basketball team! April weather rainy this year!

I know this has to be heartbreaking for the Bulletin newsroom, but this is hard news that the Bulletin’s readers have a right to read about without the bias. Why the news black out?
True this story broke today after the print issue was delivered but the other liberal Connecticut newspapers have this story front and center on their websites. The posting time shows them up as of midday or so. What’s wrong with the Bulletin’s newsroom staff? Obviously they got the news if they are reporting on Rell’s unsurprising continuing popularity.

Tellingly the two other Republicans for the nomination (who no one ever heard of) are also beating Dodd by “significant margins”:

41(R) percent to 37 (D)
43 (R) percent to 35 (D)

Even for the Bulletin this reporting is conspicuously biased. We shall have to see what the print edition has in store for us tomorrow. For the Q-poll results go here.
